This position will support the implementation of a fully integrated physician practice management and electronic ambulatory patient record system.  This position will lead the continued rollout of the scheduling and physician billing modules to clinics in the Yankton region.  Must have a Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a health-related field with 2-4 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.  Project management experience and previous experience implementing clinic software preferred.  Prefer Meditech/LSS Data Systems experience.  Exempt/salaried position, M-F 8a-5p, other hours as needed to support the project.  Some travel required.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide expert guidance for the analysis design and implementation of MEDITECH NUR
Review customer requirements; perform analysis, design and documentation of current state and future state workflows
Provide expert guidance and assistance in the design and development of system parameters and dictionaries
Develop test plans and coordinate testing
Maintain regular communications regarding project issues, risks, and needs with client, vendor, team leadership and team members
Classify problems as system, training, or process and recommend appropriate corrections
Teach end-users new technology and enhancements
Guide end-users through complex application functionality
Provide second and third level support for other MEDITECH applications across a large healthcare enterprise
Communicate with internal networking and desktop support teams
Communicate with end-users for problem resolution
Establish a close working relationship with the customer
Analyze issues and problems reported by end-users and customers
Identify and implement solutions in cooperation with other team members, MEDITECH, Inc., end-users and customers
Implement new functionality
Participate in new module implementation and upgrades
Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Demonstrate customer service skills regarding responsiveness to customer requests for support assistance, whether troubleshooting, problem solving, report development, or system enhancements and correction testing

We are currently looking for a MEDITECH Medical Necessity Implementation (CS)
Location: Actual facility is in California (exact city will not be released at this time)***Part time resource 25 hours per week remote for 3 months, 300 hours max. Candidate will work remotely 95% of the time. Will be required to travel to the client site 5% of the time.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide expert guidance for the analysis design and implementation of MEDITECH Medical Necessity C/S
Knowledge of MIS, CPT Billing Requirements and CPT Code dictionaries and interrelationship between key modules (ADM, OE, LAB, RAD, BAR).
Tasks will include the responsibility to load CPT Billing Requirements dictionary into Meditech, test that it works correctly, trouble-shoot and resolve issues

Required Skills:

CSC's Meditech Competency is looking for a Meditech Senior Implementation Specialist with experience implementing the LSS Clinicals / MPM Suite. This position will assist leading healthcare organizations, our clients - with implementation and consulting initiatives to enhance patient care, increase operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance. These endeavors include: system and module implementations, release upgrades, assessments and system optimizations and process improvement consulting. Required:· 3+ years implementing LSS Clinicals / MPM module· 3+ years of healthcare IT experience· Strong written and oral communication skills· Ability to travel Monday - Thursday on a weekly basis· Strong understanding of a "team dynamic" and the ability to lead small groups Not Required BUT a Plus:· RN or other clinician type of background· Other clinical or ambulatory application experience· Other MEDITECH application experience (Magic or Client / Server)· Health care operational leadership experience
